Roxas replaces Robredo

President Benigno Aquino III has appointed Liberal Party president and Telecommunications Secretary Manuel ‘Mar’ Roxas as the duly successor of the late Jesse Robredo as the new Department of Interior and Local Governement secretary. Cavite Representative Joseph Emilio Abaya will be the new Department of Transportation and Communications secretary. Nepalese co-pilot’s body found. Rescue operation ended

The search for the last victim of the ill-fated flight that went down in Masbate that killed Interori and Local Government Secretary Jesse Roberto has ended with the discovery of the body of the Nepalese co-pilot yesterday, August 23. The body of Nepalese national Kshitiz Chand was found floating to the surface when a ferry passenger spotted him near the crash site. A Fitting State Funeral for Sec. Robredo

President Benigno Aquino III  has signed Proclamation No. 460 s. 2012 proclaiming August 21 as a National Days of Mourning in honor of the late Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Manalastas Robredo and his two companions in the ill-fated  Piper Seneca plane that crashed in the seas of Masbate City.     The body of Sec.
