Australia to ship refugees to Southeast Asian nations

Australia is in talks with the Philippine government of sending Syrian refugees who try to enter Australia illegally. Australia has a multi-million dollar deal to resettle refugees but so far, only four refugees have taken up the offer of cash, free health insurance and accommodation to move from Nauru to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Government is doing great with its anti-corruption drive – Businessmen

Many businessmen are more confident with President Benigno Aquino III’s leadership and his campaign for the anti-corruption, the Social Weather stations (SWS) said. For its latest survey, 42% believe that the drive against corruption of the government is very effective with 58% positive survey from the executives of 826 companies. The Catholic Church leaders asked the people to support and give the newly elected Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno a chance to prove herself that she is worthy of the appointment by President Benigno Aquino III of heading the judiciary department. ‘It is only fair’ the Church said when Sereno replaced the ousted Chief Justice Renato Corona. After months of search for someone to lead the Judiciary department, the Philippines made history once more when it appointed the first woman Supreme Court Chief Justice. Supreme Court Associate Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno is the 24th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court after the impeachment of ex-CJ Renato Corona. A Fitting State Funeral for Sec. Robredo

President Benigno Aquino III  has signed Proclamation No. 460 s. 2012 proclaiming August 21 as a National Days of Mourning in honor of the late Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Manalastas Robredo and his two companions in the ill-fated  Piper Seneca plane that crashed in the seas of Masbate City.     The body of Sec.
