The recently completed acquisition of Tumblr, and internet blogging service by Yahoo! for $1.1 billion will include David Karp, founder of Tumblr, to independently run Tumblr so not to turn away its user after it’s purchase by Yahoo!. Microsoft and Barnes & Nobles Merge To Deliver the Biggest Array of E-Books

Computer software giant Microsoft teamed up with Barnes & Noble aiming at a bigger share in the electronic books, better known as ebook business. Microsoft will invest $300 million in Barnes & Noble digital reading capabilities which include the Nook tablet.
