Gilas Pilipinas in the Semis

Gilas Pilipinas defeated Kazakhastan in what to be the road to a hopeful finals spot of the on going FIBA Asia Championship. The Philippine team won a convincing 88-58 over Kazakhstan and a win away to take a place in the next year’s World Cup of Basketball. Shooting guard Gary David led Gilas to an early 19 point deficit, 32-13 and ending top in the score board with 22 points including 6 triples. Dela Hoya Laments Pacquiao

Retired former boxing champ now boxing promoter Oscar de la Hoya feels sorry for Filipino champ Manny Paquiao for the failure to get a dream match with American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. Dela Hoya tweeted that he may lost to Pacquiao in 2008 but feel sorry and wishes him in his  career and future plans in boxing and life in general.
